Obituary of Mary Ellen Birkhimer

Mary Ellen (VanMeter) Birkhimer, age 101, of Granite Farms Estates, Media, PA, and formerly of Thornton, PA, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Mary was born in New Jersey, and grew up in Philadelphia, PA. Mary had been a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Thornton, PA, since 1953. A woman of faith, Mary served actively with the church in her younger years. Mrs. Birkhimer was the wife of the late John D. Birkhimer, who died in 1988.
