Obituary of Paul Peter Kyriakos

Paul Peter Kyriakos "Chew", age 91, of Media (Aston Twp.), PA, died at home on Thursday, January 8, 2015. Paul was born in Chester, PA, to the late Peter and Anna (Moularaki) Kyriakos. He was a 1942 graduate of Chester High School, and had been a resident of Aston, PA, for 65 years. Paul was a Veteran of the US Army Air Corp, serving during World War II. Paul worked with the US Postal Service, Media, PA, as a Sorter, until retiring in 1996, and he also worked with Rose Tree Media School District, as a school bus driver for 27 years. Paul relished a cup of coffee, anything chocolate, smoking his pipe and crossword puzzles. He enjoyed his home, working in the garden and most of all, camping trips with his three sons, as they were growing up. Paul adored his grandchildren and cherished spending time with them. Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife, Georgia (Vourlaki) Kyriakos; sisters, Irene Kyriakos and Mary (Kyriakos) Nicolaides; brothers, Nicholas and James Kyriakos, Survivors: Three sons: Peter (Lynne) Kyriakos of Nottingham, PA, Steven Kyriakos of Newtown Square, PA, and James (Lisa) Kyriakos of Glenmore, PA Sisters: Helen Schatz of Swedesboro, NJ, Ruby Trantas of Secane, PA, Jula Radell of Ridley, PA, and Kathryn Davis of Boothwyn, PA Grandchildren: Paulina, Devin, Bridget, Sebastian, Steven, Niko, Kevin and Brian Kyriakos Funeral Service: Wednesday, 10:00 AM, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E.
