Obituary of William P. Evans

William P. Evans "Bill", age 84, a 48 year resident of Aston, PA, died Thursday, December 25, 2014, at home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Media, PA, and was a 1949 graduate of Media High School. He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving during the Korean Conflict. Bill was a member, since 1957, of Middletown Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder. Bill cherished spending time with his family and friends at the Jersey Shore. He was a devoted Penn State football fan, and Bill especially enjoyed monthly card games with the Forty-Niners Card Club, made up of Media High classmates. Bill was challenged physically for 34 years, and handled it with dignity. Predeceased by his brother, Harry H. Evans, III Survivors: Wife of 57 years: . Jane G. Evans Daughters: Susan E.
