Obituary of Catherine D. Plisko

Catherine D. Plisko, age 91, of Wallingford, PA, died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Kay worked as a school bus driver with Nether Providence School District, for 5 years. During World War II, Kay worked as a welder to help the war effort at Sun Ship Company, Chester, PA. A creative person, Kay enjoyed arts and crafts, and was an accomplished seamstress. She served as a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader, and was an honorary member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Garden City Fire Company. Most of all, Kay loved her family and enjoyed her home and gardening. Kay was the wife of 62 years to the late William Plisko, who died in 2005; daughter of the late George and Stella Chisholm Dodson. SURVIVORS Daughters: Delores M. Taylor of Wallingford, PA and Suzanne L. (Raymond) Heller of Chadds Ford, PA. Grandchildren: Joseph W. Heller of West Chester, PA, William M. Taylor of Wallingford, PA, Rebecca J. (Robert) Reed of Bear, DE and Mark D. (Melissa) Heller of Chadds Ford, PA. Great-Grandchildren: Parker J. Reed and Brooklyn N. Taylor.
