Obituary of Frank H. Evans

Frank Evans, age 86, of Wallingford, PA, and formerly of Throop, PA, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Mr. Evans was employed with Bell Telephone, AT&T, Verizon and Pepsi, until his retirement. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard, and was stationed in Japan. Mr. Evans was a member of Marcus Hook Baptist Church, where he achieved the title Deacon Emeritus. Frank enjoyed singing, especially in quartets, and was an artist who loved painting with oils and drawing. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and most of all, cherished spending time with his family. Frank was the husband of 63 years to the late, Elaine U. Evans, who died July 2013; father of the late Marla Fournier.
