Obituary of Alice Jean Kirby
Alice Jean Kirby, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, passed peacefully on April 3, 2014, into the arms of her loving God and personal Savior, Jesus Christ.
Alice Jean was born in Carneys Point, New Jersey in 1928. She attended Penns Grove High School and was very active as a youth with the Pedricktown Methodist Church. She married Walter Hampton Kirby in June 1946. They remained lovingly married for 66 years, until Walter's passing in 2008.
Jean was a devoted member of the Lima United Methodist Church, and sang for many years in the chancel choir. She was also a long-standing member of the Church's United Methodist Women's Group, and of the Ruth Circle.

Three Children: Jane Kirby Boyce, Walter James Kirby and Edward Booth Kirby
Brother: Robert Hutchinson
Grandchildren: Kimberly Boyce Socket, Mark Andrew Boyce, Laura Kirby Bol and Pamela Ann Kirby
Great-Grandchildren: Dylan Thomas Socket, Audrey Jane Boyce and Eva Elizabeth Bol.
