Obituary of William H. Bridge

William "Bill" H. Bridge, Jr., age 84, of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Mr. Bridge was a former resident of Chester, PA, before residing in Middletown Twp., Media, PA, 40 years ago. Mr. Bridge is a graduate of Nether Providence High School, Wallingford, PA, and he attended Penn State University. Bill was a veteran of the US Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was the co-owner of Bilmar Industrial Products, Chester, PA. Mr. Bridge was an active member of American Legion, Post #93, Media, PA, and the Delaware County Sportsman Association, Media, PA. Mr. Bridge loved the outdoors, especially fishing, trap shooting and hunting. He also was very fond of his dogs. Mr. Bridge was predeceased by a son, Rodman VanZant. Survivors: Wife: Joan Anne (Gourley) Bridge, Media, PA Sons: David VanZant (Maureen), of Media, PA and William R. Bridge, of Virginia Grandchildren: Christopher, Scott, and Allison VanZant.
