Obituary of Janet P. Wells

Janet Pendleton Wells, 85, a resident of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA, and former resident of Brookhaven, PA, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and R. Ruth (Ammerman) Pendleton. Janet celebrated 63 years of marriage to her husband, Stuart B. Wells on January 27th. Janet loved spending time entertaining family and friends in her home and doting on her children and grandchildren. Janet was retired from Rose Tree Media School District, where she worked for the Transportation Department. Janet had been an active member of Parkside United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Coordinator, Teacher and Member and Officer in the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed politics, history, music and reading. Janet was predeceased in death by her sisters, Jennie Pendleton, Helen Butterworth and her great-niece, Kara Kelly Herynk.
