Obituary of Doris I. Hoeffer

Doris I. Hoeffer, age 87, of Brookhaven, PA, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at her home. Doris was born in Philadelphia, PA and had been a long-time resident of Brookhaven, PA. Doris enjoyed cruising, and had toured world-wide. She loved the theatre, mostly attending the Media Theatre and the DuPont Theatre, Wilmington, DE. Doris was fascinated with computers and loved reading mysteries. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her home and most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family. Devoted wife of the late James L. Hoeffer, Sr. who died in 1985. SURVIVORS Daughters: Sandy Hoeffer and Barbara (John) Downey Son: James (Elaine Gannon) Hoeffer, Jr. Grandchildren: Thomas Downey, Jim Hoeffer and Kristin Downey Prosper.
