Madelyn Sinnot, you have been such an important part of my life. You became a mother or Grandmother to many of us who didn't have mom's here on earth. You had a way of shaking your head in approval that made us believe we could do anything. Because of you I became a Lay Reader at St Tims. You prayed for us and I hope you will continue. I look forward to seeing your smile again and I await my nod. RIP

One of mom’s quiet ministries was to sew baptism bibs for all of the infant baptisms held at her congregation. Over the years, my guess is that mom sewed and hand-embroidered a shell (the symbol of baptism) on hundreds of baptism bibs.

She faithfully wore her own baptismal garment as she crossed over into God’s eternal care. Thom

Just read today about your mother. Sincere condolences from Claudette and I. Wow, amazing how I can see you in the face of the dear mother. What a wonderful "candle she lit" with her life - what God lit in her! What a blessing to the church, as well as her family and friends. Praise God for her life. There was never such a grander lady the Madelyn Sinnott. She was a blessing to our family. She opened her house and heart to the girls. We are blessed to have known her and will cherish her memory in our hearts.
