Obituary of Virginia Phillips

Virginia Phillips “Ginny” age 95, of Philadelphia, PA, died surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 18, 2024. 

Ginny was a secretary with Bell Telephone for 10 years. 

She was a devoted member of Emmanuel Resurrection Episcopal Church, where she was actively involved in many groups.

Ginny enjoyed knitting, crocheting and word puzzles.  Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family.

Wife of the late Harry A. Phillips; daughter of the late Ernest and Helen (Jones) Hargrave; sister of the late Rutherford, Winston and Kenneth Hargrave.

Daughter: Jane Phillips-Jones

Son: David (Patricia) Phillips

Grandchildren: Daniel (Danielle) Jones, Erik Jones, Lindsay (Michael) Kessler, Jessica (Michael) Wagner

Great-Grandchildren: Emily Jones, Hannah Jones, Brielle Kessler, Mikey Wagner and Emma Wagner

Visitation: Wednesday, April 24^th after 10:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 24^th at 11:30AM at the funeral home.

Interment: George Washington Memorial Park.
