Obituary of Katherine W. Patterson

Katherine W. (Kae) Patterson, age 83 years, of Upper Providence Township, PA, died on Friday, May 5th, 2017 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Born in Upper Darby, PA, Mrs. Patterson had been a resident of Upper Providence for 58 years.

Kae was a graduate of the former Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA. She had been employed by Compumark of Broomall, PA as Data Management Supervisor for 20 years. Later Kae worked as a crossing guard for Rose Tree Elementary for 15 years.

Mrs. Patterson was a longtime member of Nativity BVM Church in Media, PA. She was a strong advocate for the Second Time Around Parents Program where she would moderate weekly meetings. She was also a member of the Upper Providence Senior Citizens Club.

Wife of the late John "Jack" Patterson, Sr., mother of the late Mary Pat Lawson, grandmother of the late Jeremy Lawson and Jason Patterson.

Survivors:

Son: John E. (Linda) Patterson, Jr.

Daughters: Karen Patterson, Kate (Rick) Weisbond, Roe (Ray) Titter, Sue (Craig) Ickes, Beth (Howard) DiValentino and Lynn Patterson.

Brother: Jack Wells

Sisters: Rose Marie Wells, Joan McCall, and Ruth McFall

Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews

Funeral Mass: Thursday, May 11th at 11:00 AM at the Church of Nativity BVM, Franklin Street, Media, PA.19063.

Visitation: Wednesday, May 10th from 6:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, May 11th, from 9:00-10:30AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) and Knowlton Rds., Middletown Township, Media, PA 19063.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
