My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Payne. For those who don't know me, I grew up next door to her on Ahrens Lane; she will always be "Mrs. Payne" to me. She and Mr. Payne were practically my second parents (as well as to my sister, Karen). They spoiled us rotten.
Our family will always be forever in debt to her as she so unselfishly helped to care for my father when he was battling cancer and being an emotional pillar for my mother during those trying times.
At least now it's comforting to know she has rejoined her beloved husband in Heaven.
Mrs. Payne, you will be terribly missed and forever loved for all you have done for me and my family.
God Bless and Rest In Peace.
