Obituary of Dorothy B. Blocklyn
Dorothy Blocklyn, 87, of Wallingford, PA, homemaker, died March 15, 2011 at Mercy-Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA.
Mrs. Blocklyn was born in Manassas, VA. The daughter of the late Harvey William Breeden and Wilma Grace Williams, she lived in Rose Valley, PA, for over forty years and brought to life a home and garden for the family she loved.
Outside her home she volunteered in the Crozer-Chester Medical Center Auxiliary and in the hospital's Serendipity thrift shop, as well as serving as a poll worker for the Borough of Rose Valley.
After seeing her three children through school, she returned to school herself to study art history at Widener University in Chester, PA.
Her passions were needlework, gardening, the woods and fields around her Rose Valley home, and her family, who shared these passions with her.

Brother: Gerald Breeden of Kennett Square, PA
Grandchildren: Tamela Kozlowski of Huntington, NY, Samuel Blocklyn of Arlington, TX, Katie and Peter Blanchard of Shavertown, PA
Great-Grandchildren: Ty & Claire Ann Blocklyn of Arlington, TX.
