Obituary of Edith Dorothy M. Gray

Edith Dorothy (Dot) Gray 1919 – 2016 Edith Dorothy (Dot) Gray, age 96, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2016. Born at home in Holmes, PA, she attended Ridley High School, where she accompanied all musicals. She was married to the late Albert L. (Pat) Gray for 58 years before his passing in 2000. Since 1949 she made her home in Primos, PA, but for the past 3 years resided with her daughter in Media. For more than 30 years she was the organist at Tully Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sharon Hill and later was interim organist at Glenolden Presbyterian, Congregational, and more recently at Yeadon Presbyterian Church. Music and the piano were her passions in addition to her family. She accompanied programs for Primos Elementary School and at one time had as many as 35 piano students in her home. One of her former organ students is the current organist at Middletown Presbyterian Church. She was the daughter of the late Stephen W. and Emma Magill, loving wife of the late Albert L. (Pat) Gray, and devoted mother to her four children: Albert (Mary Jane) Gray of Voorhees, NJ; John (Doris) Gray of Middletown, Sharon Reed of Middletown, and Carolyn (David) Goodspeed of Blue Ridge, GA. She has 7 grandchildren: Sean, Kyle, Jonathan, Stephanie, Matthew, Meghan and Kimberly, and 4 great-grandchildren: Kalyb, Alex, Micah, and Bella. Visitation: Thursday, from 6 – 8 p.m. and Friday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte #352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Township, Media, PA 19063 Funeral Service: Friday at 11:00a.m. at Middletown Presbyterian Church, 273 S.
