To the Bassett Family,

My heart and prayers go out to you all. Your Dad, " My Buddy" as I called him, was a wonderful man who I enjoyed talking to about politics. I also enjoyed just listening to him talk about his time in the service. I only knew him for a short time but I will never forget him. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and please know I was truly blessed to have met him.
