Obituary of Scott D. Jones

Scott D. Jones, age 32, of Aston, PA, died suddenly on Saturday, November 28, 2015. Scott was born December 23, 1982. Scott was a 2001 graduate from Sun Valley High School. Scott was a devoted Fire Fighter and EMT with Newtown Square Fire Co. and Media Fire Company, as well as a volunteer at Aston Twp. Fire Department. Scott was in the United States Marine Corp. Reserves Bridge Company Bravo in Folsom, PA, and served as a combat engineer and held the rank of Corporal. He actively participated with Toys for Tots and was devoted to honoring fellow marines. Scott enjoyed golfing, hiking and running. Son of the late Ronald Lee Jones. Survivors: Mother: Cathy M. JonesShortlidge (Robert Shortlidge) of Aston, PA Brothers and Sisters: Trisha M.
