Obituary of Elizabeth R. Cardwell

Elizabeth R. Cardwell, 94, devoted to her christian faith, and life long resident of Upland, PA, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at The Meadows at Martins Run. She was a member of Life Church of Delco for over 35 years. Bette enjoyed reading her bible, babysitting her grandchildren and crocheting. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Bette was the beloved wife, of 53 years, to the late Francis "Smitty" Cardwell, who died in 1993. She was daughter of the late Mae Price and the late Paul Akley and sister of the late Paul, Roy and Earl Price, Florence Coffin and Pauline Flore. She was also pre-deceased by 3 great-grandchildren.
