Obituary of Charles A. White

Charles A. White, age 81, died on February 14, 2011, at Fair Acres Nursing Home. Mr. White was born in Chester and has been a lifetime resident of Aston. He was a 1948 graduate of Media High School and attended Temple University. Charles was an Electrical Engineer at Swarthmore College for 19 years until his retirement in 2004. Mr. White was a U.S. Army and Navy Veteran. Charles enjoyed boating, playing country music on his steel guitar, photography and electronics. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He is the son of the late Theodore W. and Mary (Lincoln) White and the brother of the late Theodore White, Jr. SURVIVORS: Wife of 55 years to Dolores Wilt White. SONS: Chuck, Tommy and Ted White. DAUGHTER: Cindy Keen-White STEP-MOTHER: Mary White SISTERS: Florence Fisher, Maryella Clark and Edith Tackett.
