Obituary of Mary E. Sujan
Mary E. (Townsend) Sujan, “Molly”, age, 73, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Media, PA, died on March 8, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Molly was born and raised in Penn Yan, NY, and was a 1959 graduate of Penn Yan Academy. Molly graduated from the University of Michigan in 1963, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She was a dedicated teacher who taught in New Jersey, The American School in New Delhi, India, Springton Lake Middle School and most recently, the Colonial School District in New Castle, DE.
Mrs. Sujan was a longtime parishioner of the Church of St. Francis De Sales, Lenni, PA. Molly was a volunteer at Longwood Gardens in the children’s garden. Molly enjoyed playing tennis and traveling, especially to her cottage at Keuka Lake in the NY Finger Lakes. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family.
Daughter of the late James A. and Mary E. (Murphy) Townsend
Survivors:
Children: Megan (Robert) Atkinson of WA, Neelam (David) Lindquist of East Earl, PA and Jai (Laura) Sujan of Phila., PA
Former Husband: Shyam Sujan
Sister: Anne (Kent) Salisbury of Branchport, NY
Grandchildren: Caroline, Will, Molly, Jemma and Gracie
Also survived by nieces and nephews
Beloved Dog: Grady
Funeral Mass: Friday at 11:00AM at the Church of St. Francis De Sales, 35 New Rd, Aston, PA 19014
Visitation: Friday after 10:00AM at the church
Interment: Private
