Obituary of Elizabeth L. Mulcahy

Elizabeth L. Mulcahy, age 85, of Wayne, PA, and formerly of Brookhaven, PA, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at Highgate, Paoli, PA. Elizabeth was born November 13, 1929, in Delaware County, PA, where she lived for 84 years. She was a 1947 graduate of Notre Dame High School. Elizabeth was employed with Crozer-Chester Medical Center in telecommunications, and as Main Lobby Information Representative, for nearly 50 years, until her retirement in 2011. Elizabeth's life included involvement in the community, where she was a parishioner of St. Robert's Church, and served as Girl Scout Troup 759 co-leader. Most of all, Elizabeth was a proud mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was known for her tiny stature, impish smile and positive attitude. Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband of 34 years, Edward Mulcahy, grandparents Michael and Addie (Keithley) McNulty, and aunts Anne McNulty and Theresa (Harry) Brown. Survivors: Daughter: AnneMarie (Barry) Brazunas of Wayne, PA. Three Loving Grandsons: Brendan (Kate) Brazunas of Downingtown, PA, Eamon (Allison) Brazunas of Berwyn, PA and Evan Brazunas of Wayne, PA. Three Great-Grandchildren: McKenna, Ronan and Stella. Funeral Mass: Friday, at 10:30AM at the Church of Our Lady of Assumption, 35 Old Eagle School Rd., Strafford, PA. Visitation: Thursday from 6:00-8:00PM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, and Friday after 9:00AM at the church. Interment: Chester Rural Cemetery.
