Obituary of Elizabeth M. Cooke

Elizabeth M. Cooke, 85, Longtime member of the Church of St. Francis deSales and Middletown Twp. resident. Elizabeth M. Cooke, 85, died January 21, 2011 at her daughter's home. Born in Braddock, Allegheny County, Mrs. Cooke lived in Middletown Twp since 1962. She previously lived in Pittsburgh, PA. Mrs. Cooke worked at Westinghouse in Pittsburgh, PA. She then became General Manager of The Penn State Bookstore, Delaware County Campus, from 1972 through 1992. She was a member of the Church of St. Francis deSales Parish in the Lenni section of Aston and an avid bridge player. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. Cooke who died in 2009. SURVIVORS: Daughters: Cynthia (Thomas) Flamminio of White Plains, MD and Elizabeth (Stirling) Sowerby of Middletown Twp, PA Sons: Edward F. (Margaret) Cooke of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Lawrence Cooke of West Grove, PA Grandchildren: Sarah and Thomas Flamminio, Jennifer, Edward F. and Elizabeth Cooke Brother: Bernard J. Malloy of Pittsburgh, PA
