Obituary of Howard Lee Royer

Howard Lee Royer, of Gradyville, PA. Died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. of Media, PA. Born June 4, 1918 in Winchester, VA, to the late Frank E. and Carrie Emptage Royer. In 1940 he began working for the Chester Hardware & Supply Company, where he remained until his retirement in 1983. A 54 year member of Reformation Lutheran Church, Media, where he served on church council, the property and building committee. Mr Royer enjoyed playing tennis, golf, horse backriding, and after retirement gardening, woodworking and upholstering. SURVIVORS Wife of 63 years, Mildred Aker Royer Daughters: Janet E. Royer of Boothwyn and Barbara L. (Earle) Williams of Gradyville Son: David A. (Sally) Royer of Wagontown, PA Grandson: Vasile Williams Brother: Charles A.
