Obituary of Jack L. Bain
Jack L. Bain, age 94, of Eddystone, PA and formerly of Clearfield, PA, died at home on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.
Jack was a proud US Army Veteran serving during World War II, in Italy, Germany and France. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, with 4 Bronze Stars.
He worked with Scott Paper in the Foam Division, as an Oiler Machine Operator, until his retirement in1981.
Jack was a member of Woodlyn Baptist Church.
He was an accomplished athlete and excelled in baseball. Jack was also an avid football fan, following the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jack was devoted to his home and family and most of all, treasured spending time with his grandchildren.
Husband of the late Mary Michaels Bain who died 1996; father of the late Bonnie K. Belton; grandfather of the late Michael Belton.
