Obituary of Henry J. Mack
Henry J. Mack, age 93, of Upper Providence Twp., Media, PA, formerly of Seattle, WA, and Toledo, OH, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at home.
Born in Schenectady, NY, he graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, attended Syracuse University and graduated from the University of Toledo.
Henry was a fighter pilot in WWII and an Air Force reserve officer after the war ended.
Henry began his engineering career with Boeing, Seattle, WA, in 1948, worked for Curtiss-Wright, Woodridge, NJ, General Electric, Cincinnati, OH and Boeing, Philadelphia, PA. He retired from J. M. Huber Corporation, Havre de Grace, MD, as Chief Engineer. He was a longtime member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Interested in education, Henry was Chairman of the Adult School Board at Penncrest High School and was a volunteer in Thresholds of Delaware County, teaching decision making to prisoners. Henry was the author of three books, one he completed but still in his computer "My Story", one waiting to be published "Indian Fields" and a book already published "Like Sand."
Henry was a parishioner of the Church of Nativity BVM, Media, PA.
Beloved husband of the late Rosemary A. Carter Mack, who died in 2004.

Daughters: Carol Mack Warner (David), Rosemary Mack and Nancy Collingwood (Joseph); Sons: John L. Mack (Mercedes), Henry "Hank" Mack (Kris) and Ethan A. Mack (Kathleen); Grandchildren: Krista, Julie, Robert, Rosemary and Ethan
Great Granddaughter: Skye Taylor.
