Obituary of Dorothy A. Bonaventure

Dorothy A. (nee Jobson) Bonaventure, 91, of Middletown Twp., PA, died Sunday, November 4, 2012. Mrs. Bonaventure was born in Chester Heights, PA and had been a resident of Middletown Twp., PA, for 71 years. Dorothy was a woman devoted to her home and family. Most of all she cherished the summers spent with her family at the home her husband built in Stone Harbor, NJ. During her later years, she enjoyed having dinners for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy was a graduate of Media High School, Class of 1940. She was a member of the Church of Nativity BVM, Media, PA. She was a past chaplain of the Middletown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Bonaventure was the wife of the late Nicholas P. Bonaventure, who died in 2010, and the sister of the late Samuel Jobson. SURVIVORS Daughters: Barbara (Kenneth) Wood of West Grove, PA and Carol (John) Mowry of Middletown Twp., Media, PA Son: Nicholas (Maryann) Bonaventure of Middletown Twp., PA Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
