Obituary of Ellen DiMaio

Ellen DiMaio, 86, of Marcus Hook, PA and formerly of Boothwyn and Media, PA died Thursday, October 25, 2012 at home. She was born July 23, 1926 in Marcus Hook, PA. Ellen was a graduate of Ridley Park High School and worked in various jobs for over 40 years. She worked at General Accident Insurance Company, Philadelphia, PA until her retirement in 1998. Ellen was known for her kind and giving spirit and was a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Ellen's life centered around her family and she especially enjoyed spending time with them during the holidays. She will be dearly missed. Ellen was a longtime patron of the Arts and enjoyed the Theatre and Opera. Predeceased by her parents the late Giovanni and Julia DiMaio. SURVIVORS Sister: Josephine DiMaio Eyre Also survived by many caring and loving nieces and nephews Sister of the late Howard, Lou and Dominic DiMaio and Mary Almont.
