Obituary of John R. Beard

John R. Beard, "Beardie", age 72, of Ridley Township, PA, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Mr. Beard was a 1958 graduate of Chester High School and was a veteran of the US Army. He was a dedicated Police Officer in Ridley Township for 32 years, before retiring in 2002. Mr. Beard was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.). His passion was cars and he enjoyed working on them. John loved his family and most of all, treasured spending time with his grandchildren.
