I will always remember seeing Florence in that little middle school office. She guarded the principal like a mother tigress. She was always kind and helpful. She was one of a kind!

Mrs. Bishop was a kind and caring woman that I had the priveledge of knowing as a student and then a co-worker. She was the first friendly face that greated you when you walked into the main office. She will be sorley missed.

I remember Florence well!! She was always a guiding light and source of positive thought. My prayers go with her. Thank you for making my time at SHMS so bright!!

Florence was such a huge part of my life when I was at the middle school. She helped keep my crazy life straight and organized. I couldn't have done all that I did at the middle school without her support. I know how much she will be missed by both of you. She gave so much to so many in her 89 years of life.

I was so sorry to hear about Florence's passing. I dearly loved her. She welcomed me into the school when I first arrived and was so helpful to me throughout my time as a Math and Computer teacher at the Middle School. I will never forget her.

Talk about a multi-tasker? That was Florence to a "T". The first one there, the last one to leave. Her desk wasn't the neatest but somehow kept us all organized! She was the true principal, just not by title. We are better for knowing Florence.

Florence worked her hands and her heart into the soil of SHMS with quiet determination, unwavering loyality, and loving pride. I am blessed for having known you, my friend.

I am all the richer for having known and worked with Florence during my time at WSSD. Such a gentle, caring, and pleasant lady. I have no doubt that our Lord has a special place reserved for such a good and faithful servant.
