Obituary of Doris A. Sgro

Doris A. (nee Montello) Sgro, of Aston, PA passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Doris and her beloved husband the late Sam R. Sgro who died October 16, 2000 had been long time residents of Aston, PA. Doris was devoted to her home and most of all was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved weekends with her family in Lewes, DE, was an avid gardener, enjoyed the theatre, wrote poetry and loved playing cards with her friends. Doris was a member of the Church of St. Joseph, Aston, Pa. She was also a member of the AMF bowler's league and Saint John On the Hill Seniors. Doris retired from the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union in 1995 after 20 years of service. She was honored by the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union in 1993 by having the Employee of the Year Award renamed "The Doris A. Sgro Award." SURVIVORS Daughters: Deborah A.
