Obituary of Paul F. Sheehan

Paul F Sheehan, Sr age 88, a 40 year resident of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, died on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

 He was born on November 25, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, and was the son of the late Timothy and Mary A (Hanon) Sheehan, husband of the late Joan D Sheehan, to whom he was married for 60 years and father of the late Paul F Sheehan, Jr.

Paul was a proud graduate of West Catholic Boys High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree at Villanova University.  

Paul served honorably and faithfully in the United States Army before he went on to a 30 year career as a Systems Analyst with the Department of Defense.

Paul was an enthusiastic sports fan and was a loyal "Philly 4for4" fan especially enjoying his Eagles and Phillies.  His Sundays were full with attending church in the morning, watching sports in the afternoon and hosting his family at his home for weekly Sunday dinner.  He had an active life and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Sheehan was a man of faith and was an active parishoner of the Church of St. Francis de Sales.

Paul is survived by his sons Christopher (Tina) and David (Leslie); his daughter-in-law, Carolyn; his 5 grandchildren, Abigail (Jacob) Rowe; Christopher Sheehan, Jr; Olivia (Jonathan) Chick; Alec (Mackenzie) Sheehan and Amanda Sheehan as well as countless other friends and family.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation: Friday, December 27th after 10:00AM at the Church of St. Francis de Sales, 35 New Rd., Aston, PA 19014.

Funeral Mass: Friday, December 27th at 11:00AM at the Church of St. Francis de Sales.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
