Obituary of William N. Weirich

William N. Weirich (Bill) was born on January 8, 1941, in his beloved town of Lenni, PA, where he also passed peacefully on December 16, 2024. Bill married the love of his life, Margie, in 1960 and she will remain the love of his life forever. Together they raised 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren – not to mention the countless others who became family. His love of people, food, drinks and laughter made him a legend for all who knew him and knew of him. To know Bill was to love him. Bill and Margie loved to travel and spend time at the River, on their boat, in Naples, and at the grillion with family and friends. Bill loved to go hunting at his mountain house with his sons, grandsons, nephews and endless others. Bill had a love for life, telling stories, and cooking incredible meals. There was always a full fridge at his house and enough food to feed everyone that walked through his door. He was a legend and would want everyone to know that as much as we all loved him, he loved us all more.      

Bill is survived by his beautiful wife of 64 years Margie, sister Eleanore Austin, son Nick (Trudy), son Scot (Ric), daughter Tracy, grandchildren Nicholas (Melissa), Robert, Aubrey (Tyler) and Kelsie (Jake), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Matilda, brother Karl and granddaughter Rebecca Jane.  There will be a celebration of life to honor Bill after the New Year.
