Obituary of Ralph T. Christy, Jr.

Ralph T. Christy, Jr., age 99, of Aston, PA, formerly of Brookhaven and Media, PA, died at home on Thursday, October 3, 2024.  He was a 1942 graduate of Chester High School. Ralph was employed with Sun Oil Company for 39 years with Office Services, retiring in 1983.

Ralph was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Brookhaven, PA.  Mr. Christy was a member of Penn Lodge #709 F & AM.  Ralph was a generous man volunteering a longtime with Crozer Chester Medical Center. He was a former member of the Delaware County Chorus, where he traveled extensively.

Son of the late Ralph T. and Mary E. (Richardson) Christy, Sr.; Husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Christy; Great Grandpop of the late Alyssa.

Son: Mark (Sandy) Christy

Granddaughter: Dawn (Rob) McGinnis

Grandsons: Richard (Danielle) and Matthew Christy.

Great-Granddaughters: McKenzie McGinnis, Taylor Christy

Great-Grandsons: Gavin McGinnis, Nathan McGinnis, Hayden McGinnis, Dylan Christy

Great-Great-Grandson: John Elison

Visitation: Wednesday, October 9^th after 10:00AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 600 Dutton Mill Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Masonic Service will be held at 10:45AM.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 9^th at 11:00AM at the church.

Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
