Family and Friends Sharing
Condolences
Very sad to hear of the passing of Neil, whom I have known and worked with since day one at Boeing. He went out of his way to explain, walk through various requirements and work with me to find solutions. We sat in the same cubicle for years. He shared his daughters entering and graduating from college, and the birth of his grandchildren. I met him again at a party in the winter of 2023. He showed me the latest photos of his beloved grandchildren. I didn’t realize that this was a farewell forever. Neil, I will miss you.
I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences. I have worked with Neil for a lot of years at Boeing and he was more of a friend. Neil was one-of-a-kind and the most genuine person I ever met. His family meant the world to him and I loved hearing stories about them. Everyone who knew him consider themselves lucky, myself included. Neil leaves behind so many wonderful memories, and I hope that brings you comfort during these difficult days.
My thoughts and prayers,
Sharon Lombardo
I am so sad to hear that Neil has passed. He was a colleague, but more important a friend at Boeing for years and years. When things were tough at work, he would have a funny comment ready to brighten things up. And he was smart. Have a problem that didn’t seem to have a solution? He would help you find one and actually have fun while doing it. And it was obvious he loved his daughters and grandchildren very much. He was always showing the latest pictures and had one particular piece of childhood artwork on his desk, for years I think. If the measure of a life is the kindness and happiness that you spread to others, then his was a full life. He will be missed.
Every memory involves laughing at something. I was a member of Neil's bowling team, the Painkillers. Win or lose, we had a great time.
Neil was such a great guy. Quiet, kind and just a genuine nice guy. I would be working at Boeing for at least three months every year and I will never forget the first time we ran into each other. Neil actually noticed me first. After all the years, he still looked the same. I was running a wellness clinic. He came over to sit at me table and we had the opportunity to share some happenings since graduation from LA. Of course we held up others waiting but we didn’t care. After that, he made sure to come to me each year (for wellness and flu shots) so we could catch up. My condolences to all of you.
My condolences. Way back Neil was the leader of the Rat Pack with his Aussie cowboy hat and his parents Rambler. So many fun adventures so long ago. Neil was the epitome of quiet brilliance and his calm demeanor was a contrast to some of us character that he hung around with.
Wow I'm shocked by this sad news. I used to hangout with Neil, Gene Eddy and Gary Elliot frequently riding around in his Rambler on weekend nights. Prayers to Neil and his family at this difficult time....Mark Ross
Dear Barbara, Pamela, Jessica and Laura,
My deepest condolences for the passing of Neil, who was my best friend at Lansdowne Aldan High School, as well as our journey through Penn State University. He was a great friend, with a comical sense of humor and we shared so many good times together. Over the past year, we were able to gather some high school classmates together to have some fun lunches talking about the good old days, which we all enjoyed. We will all miss Neil terribly.
Sincerely,
Gene Eddy
