Dorothy L. (Tompkins) Finsterbusch

Dorothy L. “Nan” Finsterbusch, age 89, of Middletown Twp., PA and formerly of Wilmington, NC, died peacefully Thursday, February 8, 2024 while in hospice at her daughter's home surrounded by family.

Her beloved deceased husband of 64 years, Louis Finsterbusch, Sr. was the center of her life. Lou was the light in her world and all that know her, knew the light was extinguished when he died in 2017. Dorothy retired from Clifton Precision and before that worked at the Clifton Heights Pharmacy making the soda floats and ice cream sundaes! Dorothy met life long friends during her working years and later in retirement in her pinochle circle.

Most of all, Nan was devoted to her family and cherished spending time together. So many fun, rememberable times were spent at the Jersey shore campground.

Dorothy was the daughter of John and Eva (Blackwell) Tompkins; and predeceased by siblings; Junior, Jack, John and Richard Tompkins.

9 Grandchildren: Rick Finsterbusch, Michael Castiglione, Gregory Finsterbusch, Brian Finsterbusch, Brian Castiglione, Alicia (Price) Finsterbusch, Samantha (Shortall) Finsterbusch, Sean Finsterbusch, Shelby Finsterbusch and 8 Great Grandchildren

Funeral Mass: Friday, February 16th at 11AM at The Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Visitation: Friday, February 16th from 10-10:45 at the church.

Interment: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
