Obituary of Laura Biordi

Laura Biordi, age 94, a 60-year resident of Middletown Twp., Media, PA, died at home on Saturday, February 3, 2024. She was born on August 19, 1929, in Santo Amaro, Portugal.   

Laura was a successful entrepreneur who opened Laura's Beauty Salon, Marcus Hook, PA.  She also owned and operated Chester Travel Agency, which was originally located in Parkside, PA and then moved to Brookhaven, PA.

Laura was a parishioner of the Church of St. Francis De Sales, Lenni, PA.

Laura enjoyed going to Harrah's Casino in Chester every Saturday, and every Sunday she made family dinner for her children and grandchildren to all be together.  Laura was a hard worker who loved her family and friends.  Her grandchildren were her delight and she especially enjoyed spending time with them.  

Daughter of the late Jose Leitao and Deolinda Rolo Leitao; Wife of the late Angelo Biordi; Sister of the late Jose Rolo Leitao; Aunt of the late Teresa Leitao.

Survivors:

Sons: Christopher Biordi and his wife Lisa (Olchewsky) Biordi, David Biordi, Andrew Biordi and his wife Lisa Marie Patzer

Daughter: Lauren Di Prosperos and her husband Joseph

Grandchildren: Joseph Di Prosperos, Anna Biordi, Olivia Biordi, Julia Biordi, Isabella Biordi

Services and Interment will be private.
