I was an operator at the Delaware City Power and worked with Bill for years . I used to love to slip into the lab and chat with Bill and pick his brain on various subjects . I still remember a picture of him and hunting buddy with a buck I believe.
Bill was a kind man with strong moral convictions . He had a great sense of humor . I rarely ever saw him frustrated but never angry . He had a care free strut to his stride and I can still see him smiling .
Bill is a friend of mine on FB and he would comment with his wit and intelligence from time to time . Several months ago I sent him my phone number in messenger just catch up but I’m not sure if he checks messenger very often and never heard from him . Now I’m sincerely grieved I didn’t get to converse with him one last time .
However I’m sure my level of grief is nothing compared to his close family and friends who lived him and knew him deeply . I’m sure without a doubt Bill was a great father, husband and loving friend in his private life .
Therefore it is to all his family and close friends , who have my sincerest heartfelt condolences .
However it is also within my faith never to say goodbye just simply, see you later Bill.
May God richly bless y’all and bring comfort and hope within his wings .
Bill was a kind-hearted soul. I remember all the times at the Delaware City Plant. Plus, we were always eager to win playing trivia. You will be missed dearly.
I worked with Bill when he was the plant chemist at the Delaware City Power Plant. He always had a positive and somewhat mischievous attitude. We also went together to look for treasures at computer fairs in the area. He was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed. Wishing all who knew him comfort and peace at this difficult time.
Bill replaced me as the Chemist at the Delmarva Power Delaware City Power Plant. Our journeys lead in direct directions but me remained in contact over the years. What stood out about Bill was his great sense of humor and his kind heart. I am grateful to have spent some time with Bill, he had a full life and lived it well. I miss miss him. Peace be with us all.
My husband, Bill, was one of the most decent and honorable men to ever grace this earth. In the five years that he was confined to home with heart failure and COPD, he never once complained. Just hours before he died of a massive heart attack, he ate dinner and watched Jeopardy with his usual intelligence and gusto. Since his death three days ago, our two dogs, Lenny and Squiggy, have been utterly lost, wandering around in search of him. I was privileged to spend seven years with him after both of our first spouses died. If there is a heaven, Bill has the best seat in the house. Godspeed, my beloved.
Rest in peace Bill! Still remember the times we had together attending the Philadelphia Folk Festival. Mark Kelly
Lost an old friend. Bill was a good listener and a generous man. I worked with him for years. Love you Bill! You will never be forgotten!!

Bill was a great and dear friend, also a “deer” friend. He had a strong intellect. I will miss our long and thoughtful conversations together. These were usually after a hearty lunch at the Double W Ranch and followed by a peaceful nap. I am grateful to have known him. RIP
