It was such a pleasure to have met Joan while she was with us at Providence Place Senior Living. It was a joy to serve her and to care for her.

Joan and Kaz were the kind of neighbors and friends everyone wishes for. Even our dog Groucho used to escape from our yard and sit on the Werc’s front porch waiting for them. Joan was a dedicated teacher’s aid for special needs children and then an extremely dedicated and gifted teacher for inner city youth. When I think of a truly Christ like dedicated Catholic I visualize Joan and Kaz. Family was their first priority and I admired that about them. Joan’s passing is a loss to the world. Jackee Swartz
