Obituary of Geraldine J. Kosek

Geraldine J. Kosek "Gerry" of Brookhaven, PA, formerly of Claymont, DE, passed away on October 15th, 2023. She was a former graduate of Chester High School, Chester, PA. After graduation, she worked as a sales clerk at McCroys in Chester, PA.

Once married, she became a full-time homemaker and mother to her two daughters. Gerry spent her time making memories with family and friends. She also loved spending time with her cats, Minnie, Tiger, and Lucky, meeting new people, and doing word puzzles.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Kosek, Jr., and her parents, Charles D. & Rose Yohey. Geraldine is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia A. Kosek and Charlene M. Cannavo, with her husband Charles J. Cannavo, her grandson Matthew M. Kosek, her grandson William R. Cooper with his wife Megan, her granddaughter Shelby L. Cooper with her husband David and their daughter Savanna.

Visitation: Friday, October 20th from 10:00-10:45AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Funeral Service: Friday, October 20th at 11:00AM at the funeral home.

Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery.
