The General, its been an honor knowing you these past few years. You were a close friend of mine from the start, somebody i could talk to about anything. You always had a "Can-Do" attitude which helped motivate me, you helped me with anything i needed help with. You accepted my friends as your own, we used to come over and play Wii bowling all the time and i swear you practiced without us cause you whooped us lol, wherever you are i hope you're resting in paradise. You deserve it
I have many memories of my cousin Johnny, from West Chester, Pennsylvania to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We had many laughs working for my Father in the 1980’s, John’s happiest times of his life were the birth of his children of which l had the privilege of being in his life at that time. Life was never easy for Johnny but he never complained. I have numerous photos of Aunt Jean and my Mother Ruth raising their children from the 1950’s. I will always cherish the memories of my amazing cousin Johnny. Until we meet again in heaven, l love you.
I had the distinct pleasure of knowing John (General) Menditto quite well and being able to call him a dear friend. I can honestly say he was one of my best friends. He was an amazing human being that brought joy to those around him. Even my 4 year old son adored him and John love my son, he would always ask about his "little buddy". I'm sad he's gone but I'm glad he's at peace now. I'm so sorry for the families loss. We will all forever miss General, godspeed my friend.
I had personally not met John Senior, but I saw his photo album that he shared when he went to Italy and took many fine pictures. I’ve never been to Italy, but some of the photos he showed me was where my mom and dad were born. One day we will meet John, when Jesus comes for all those who are waiting for Him in the clouds of glory at the time of the rapture

John was one of a kind! He never failed to brighten my day when he was the driver with our parts. When our dog Beatrice was alive, John always had a treat for her. She loved him too! His professionalism, his friendly personality and his corny jokes will forever be in our memory. All of us at Pat's Trans will miss John greatly. He was a great delivery man, but an even better human. Rest in Peace John. Goodbye...or as you would probably prefer, ARRIVEDERCI.
