Obituary of Barbara J. Micucci

Barbara Boyle Micucci returned to her heavenly Father on Friday, May 12, 2023. Barbara grew up in Darby, PA, graduated from BVM (’60), Archbishop Prendergast High School (’64), Fitzgerald School of Nursing (’67) and Villanova University (’90). She dedicated her life to nursing and her nursing specialty was Infection Prevention and Control at Fair Acres in Delaware County.

She was predeceased by her Parents, John and Margaret (Friel) Boyle.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joe, three stepchildren: Kendra (Brad) Mushrush, Keith Micucci, and Andrew (Keim) Micucci

Ten grandchildren: Shawn, Nicholette, Alexis, Vincent, Gavin, Christian, Kasey, Makaela, Emily (her birthday buddy) and Joseph.

Also, surviving are her sisters: Mary deSimone (Dese), Patricia Coonelly (Joe), Marge Brown (John), and Karen (Russ); brothers: Joe Boyle (Anne) and Chick Boyle (Debbie).

Fourteen nieces and nephews and twenty-nine great nieces and nephews.

Barbara loved her family and friends and was always loving and kind to all. One of her annual traditions was to attend Mass on Thanksgiving to thank God for all the good that was in her life.

Visitation: Saturday, May 20th from 9:30-10:45AM at Saint John Neumann Church, 380 Highland Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010, where a Mass of Celebration will be held  at 11:00AM.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
