I will best remember Wayne from our younger years in the neighborhood where I grew up. He was very intelligent and an all around nice guy. I was shocked when I heard the news of his demise, he had so much ahead of him entering into retirement soon. Although he is no longer with us he will live on in the memories of the people's lives he touched. Still he will be missed.
Wayne was part of our Rural Ave. gang. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Although I have not seen him in years, I think of him whenever Steve Miller comes on the radio. His push button transmission on his Dodge Dart.
I miss those younger days.
Condolences to his friends and family.
So very sorry.
Wayne was my friend for 45 years. He was my best man at my wedding 40 years ago and continued to keep in touch throughout the years. I have many memories of our younger years. We went hunting and amused ourselves with his high tech telescope. We talked on the phone weekly and I was lucky enough to see him one last time about a month ago when he stopped by my house. I will cherish that last visit forever. RIP my friend
Though I haven’t shared time with Wayne in quite a few years he was one of the BEST friends I’ve ever had…We had a lot of good times and he was always a HUGE heart to my family. We played in a band that did a pretty good job on some Chicago songs thanks to his excellent Trumpet playing! We would go out on freezing winter nights and set up his C8 telescope to witness the awe of the Universe.
Wayne was my husband's best man when we were married 40 years ago. They remained in contact for all these years and my husband considered him his best friend. They talked on the phone many times throughout the week. We are so saddened by the news. He will always remain in our memory. Thoughts and prayers for his family.
On behalf of the St. James High School Alumni Association and his 1974 classmates, I extend our deepest sympathies and prayers on your loss. On April 23, 2023, the Alumni Association will remember Wayne at their annual Memorial Mass at St. Madeline's Church in Ridley Park May he rest in peace!
To Family and Friends, I'm saddened to hear of Wayne's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that I enjoyed working with Wayne at FlightSafety International for over 5 years. I offer my heartfelt support and friendship in this difficult time.
Wayne was a kind, wonderful neighbor. Community is shocked by his sudden passing. Our deepest condolences to the family and friends. May he Rest In Peace and his memory lives forever.
