Obituary of Donna Maria Lipka

Donna Maria (Larkins) Lipka, age 73, of Jessup, Maryland, formerly of Brookhaven, PA, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Howard County General Hospital, Columbia, MD. 

Donna was born November 20, 1948 and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Moylan, PA, Class of 1966 and a graduate of Cosmetology School. Donna was a homemaker, who was devoted to caring for her family. Prior to marriage and children, Donna worked as a Cosmetologist at a beauty salon in Brookhaven, PA.

Donna was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary of the Mills Roman Catholic Church, Laurel, MD., where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Ladies of Charity.

Every January Donna participated in the March for Life held annually in Washington DC. Being of Irish Ancestry, she always seemed to have the "Luck of the Irish". Donna was an avid bingo player. With her good luck, she managed to accumulate a collection of Vera Bradley purses, Longaberger Baskets, and Pandora bracelets as prizes.

Donna had a passion for flower gardening, reading and baking cookies. She also liked to travel and loved beach vacations.

Donna's heart was made of gold! She will be remembered for her generosity, thoughtfulness, and compassion. She lived a Christian life always mindful of virtues of Faith, Hope, Love and Charity.

Daughter of the late Louis Paul and Mary J. (Burns) Larkins.

Daughter: Jennifer Lipka (Kevin Wilson) of Knoxville, TN

Son: John Lipka Jr., of Jessup, MD

Sister: Jeanne Pitman (John) of Wallingford, PA

Brothers: Louis Larkins (Barbara) of Coatesville, PA, Kevin Larkins (Kim Field) of Brookhaven, PA

Also survived by 7 nieces and nephews and 16 grandnieces and grandnephews
