Obituary of Samuel J. Shiels

Sam J. Shiels, Jr., 38, of Eddystone, PA and formerly of Glen Mills, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, surrounded by his family and friends. Sam was born in Media, PA and raised in Glen Mills, PA. He was a graduate of Garnet Valley High School, Class of 1991. Sam was self-employed as a General Contractor and was a talented wood craftsman. Sam loved his son and he was known to have said "He was the best thing that ever happened to me." He also enjoyed his dogs, outdoor sports, especially fishing, locally and in Rock Hall, MD, and Snow Skiing in Vermont and Quebec. SURVIVORS Son: Sam Shiels, III Parents: Sam J. & Marilyn B.
