Obituary of Daniel (Stan) L. Cella
Daniel L. (Stan) Cella age 83 years of Upper Chichester, Aston, PA died on Friday October 15, 2010 at home. Born in Philadelphia, PA he had been a resident of Upper Chichester for the past forty years.
A graduate of Bok Technical High School he was an Army veteran having attained the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He was currently employed by the US Census Bureau and was the former owner of Stanservice, Inc a HVAC service company of Darby, PA
Mr. Cella was an active member of the Church of St. John Fisher in Boothwyn, PA where he had served as an usher. Other memberships included: VFW Post 926 of Aston, the Aston Twp. Lions Club, Knight of Columbus and the Optimist Club. He also enjoyed fishing and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife: Grace M. (DeSanto) Cella; 3 sons Daniel J. (Barbara) Cella of Middletown Twp., Robert A. (Susan) Cella of Marlton, NJ., and John A. (Lisa) Cella of Westown, PA., 5 grandchildren Robert A., Alexandra W., Jacklyn A., Alyssa L., and Danielle G. Cella. 1 SISTER Rosemarie Stow of Williamstown, NJ. He was the father of the late Richard M. Cella and the brother of the late James F. Cella.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10:30am from the Church of St. John Fisher 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn PA 19061. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:00am to 10:15am at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the above named church.
