Condolences
I attended nursing school at Hahnemann Hospital with Gail. She was a good student and a a personable friend. I saw her as a dedicated nurse who always had her patients best interests as a priority. Sadly we did not keep in touch after graduation but I always remembered her with fondness and am saddened at her passing but pleased to see how she impacted nursing in her lifetime. Janet Landis D’Orazio. Class of 1970
Gail was a sweet lady and I’m privileged to have known her through my aunt, Janice Cranmer. They are together with their savior now. I’m praying for you, her family, that you feel God’s presence as you grieve this earthly loss of Gail.
I am very happy I had the opportunity to meet Gail once at the Porsche Boardwalk Reunion in Ocean City, New Jersey. Gail's smile and loving heart was infectious. I am very sorry for your loss. Gail is now watching over all of us from heaven. My prayers continue for Gail's soul and I thank God for taking her to heaven. I feel very blessed I met Gail because she enriched my life.
Gail was such a great asset to Immaculata University! Her holistic approach to health enriched not only our nursing program but extended to other disciplines, such as Music and Music Therapy. I still remember sharing spiritual thoughts and insights with Gail. She will be greatly missed!

Gail epitomized the caring and warmth she inspired in her students. She was ever a joy to her colleagues at Immaculata. She brought light with her everywhere she went, and that light will be missed. My sincerest condolences to the family and friends who mourn her loss. Her Immaculata University family will always be grateful for Gail’s many years as a grace-filled and uplifting presence in our midst.
Gail was a source of inspiration and joy to all around her at Immaculata. I treasured meeting her in the hallway or being in a meeting with her because of her genuine love for the students she served, her positive perspective on goals and challenges, and her willingness to lend a hand or a prayer. Heaven is blessed by her presence and she will be missed. Sister Ann
I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Gail’s passing! I knew her health was not good, she had characterized it as “a challenge and in God’s hands”. So like her to understate her condition and to reach out to notify me about a former colleague and friend who was seriously ill. She also knew my beloved husband had recently passed and not surprisingly sent me words of comfort and healing despite what she must have been going through.
I have many fond memories of Gail, she was excellent cook, often using ingredients from her garden. I had the privilege of sharing a few lunches with her, she was a generous hostess. Her knowledge of wines was extensive, my late husband who liked to dabble in good wines was impressed with her expertise. She shared a few wonderful bottles with us, what a treat that was! Most of all I remember Gail’s kind and compassionate ways, whether she was counseling her students or consoling a friend, she offered solace and healing to all who came to her.
Thank you Gail, for being a good friend and colleague. You listened and consoled me more times than I can think of. I like to think of you now in the arms of your beloved parents, Our Lord or walking through your own beautiful garden with our late, dear friend Janice. This has been a sad year indeed.
