Obituary of Gerald E. Eaton
Gerald E. Eaton, F.D. "Jay", 83, of Granite Farms Estates where he resided four and a half years and formerly a resident of Springfield, PA for thirty-four years, died Sunday, October 9, 2011. He was born in Topsham, Maine.
Jay retired from Hahnemann Hospital as a Funeral Director in 1993. He also worked as a Funeral Director with several Philadelphia Funeral Homes for over fifty years.
Jay served in the Navy Reserves for twenty-two years and was a member of the Springfield VFW .
Jay and his wife, Emily were active members of Springfield Baptist Church for 35 years
Jay was a man devoted to his family. He was active in several Masonic organizations.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Emily Bruner Eaton
Daughters: Janice (Michael) Hess and Cory Gronemus
Sons: Jeffrey (Loretta) Eaton and Christopher (John) Eaton
Step-Daughter: Elizabeth (Robert) Jesson
Step-son: Frank (Terry) Bruner.
Step Son-in-Law: Dale Hollenbach
