Condolences
Ron, Scott, and Dawn,
I am so so sorry to hear about your father’s passing. I have such fond memories of him at St. John’s from childhood as well as when I have gone there as an adult. He was such a goody(in a good way) and fun person. I truly know this time is difficult. May God hold you on his loving arms during this time, and always.
Ron was a very kind, compassionate mentor. I started over 25 years ago at block and he was so patient and took me under his wing until I was able to fly solo. He always had my back and lived my children. He will be greatly missed. However, I know that he is forever united with his bride Rose.
Ron was a truly remarkable friend ! He took me to a number of eye appointments at Wills Eye and was so happy to do so! Will miss him dearly
I’m so sad. I just dropped Ron a note after learning he was on the prayer list. He was delightful and kind with a good sense of humor. We’d talk about Sunday School and Vestry, our families and life, He, Steve and Rose used to talk about living in D-town. He often mentioned missing Rose. We’ve missed seeing him during this past year of isolation. Dawn, you and brothers and family have our deepest sympathy. God bless. Peggy & Steve Long
Ron was there to greet us when we first came to St. John's in September, 1972. He was Sunday School Superintendent at the time.
We got to know Rose and Ron at a St. John's outing to The Stone Barn. I don't remember the play we saw but I do remember we a great time together and laughed a lot. On another church outing we met up at a Father's Day Phillies game.
A few years later, we were both church wardens. Since he was Accounting Warden, we met at their house and developed the annual budget at the kitchen table. In those days, it was a prayerful budgeting process. We put it together and then prayed like mad we would get the money.
Ron was one of the best and we'll all miss him.

I was so shocked to hear about Ron's passing. I got to know Ron pretty well as we counted the church collections together, once a month, for the last 12 years. He was a delight to work with, never made mistakes and was extremely efficient. It was a pleasure working with him.
He often talked about how much he missed Rose and regretted that she passed on too early. He also enlightened me about Ron, Scott and Dawn and their families.
He also always asked me about my family, our vacations and our grandchildren.
I am very sad. I will miss Ron.
Gerry
