Obituary of Diane Nancy Dabkowski

Diane Nancy (Nee O’Connor) Dabkowski, “Momma D” age 73, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Upland, PA, passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Diane was a beautician for over 50 years. She was the owner/operator of Diane’s Beauty Salon in Boothwyn, PA, for more than 20 years, where family, friends and clients were treated to her incredible talents and warm hospitality. Momma D was an amazing cook and took great pleasure in entertaining those she loved. She was loyally dedicated to her family and friends. She loved the beach and enjoyed relaxing and sunning by the bay in Lewes, DE. She owned a home in Rehoboth Beach, DE for 10 years that she lovingly tended to. Momma D was fun loving and enjoyed dancing and music. She took any opportunity to dance and loved attending live music performances. Diane enjoyed going to movies, reading, decorating and spending time with her loved ones and the family dog, Ted. Daughter of the late Eleanor M. Kirby Francisco.
