Obituary of John S. Fooks

John S. Fooks, age 60, of Brookhaven, PA, died suddenly on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Pennsylvania Hospital. John was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, Class of 1977. He attended Delaware County Community College. John was an IT Data Analyst at Trinity Health in Newtown Square, PA. John, affectionally called Johnny by many, was an avid Golfer. He enjoyed the Eagles, Phillies and watching his son play baseball. He was extremely proud of Danielle and Evan's accomplishments and knew they would be successful in their careers and wanted nothing but happiness for them. John loved his dog, Marlie, and she stayed by his side every day. John left behind many family, cousins and friends who enjoyed his sense of humor. John loved to cook, almost as much as playing golf. He had a big heart and a lending ear to anyone who needed advice or just wanted to talk. Son of the late Thomas H. and Irene (Williams) Fooks, Sr., and grandson of the late Thelma E. (Warrington) Fooks John leaves behind a Loving Wife of 24 years, Donna M. (Hatton) Fooks Adoring Children: Daughter, Danielle M. Fooks and Son, Evan T. Fooks Siblings: Richard (Wendy) Fooks, Thomas (Karen) Fooks, and Joanne Shultz Father and Mother-in-Law: Hugh and MaryAnn Hatton Brother-in-law: Dan (Jennifer) Hatton Nephews: Jordan Fooks, Michael Schultz, Kevin Schultz and Russell Middleton Niece: Jacqui Sams Visitation: Friday, August 28th from 9:30-11:15AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Media, PA 19063. Funeral Service: Friday, August 28th at 11:30AM at the funeral home. Interment immediately following: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, in remembrance of John's life, the family asks that donations be made to Donna, for the children's college fund, and sent to 4924 Grant Drive, Brookhaven, PA 19015.
